Proxr ("Proxr", "we", "us") is a voice-first app that helps homeowners describe home repair and service jobs and receive quotes from local contractors. This policy explains what information we collect through the Proxr iOS app and our servers, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Proxr you agree to this policy.

| Voice conversations | When you talk to the Proxr assistant, your audio is streamed and processed in real time to understand your request. We keep the text transcript of the conversation and the AI-generated job summary together with your job request. We do not keep the raw audio after the conversation is processed. |
| Photos | Photos you choose to share of the issue, the work area, or appliance labels. They are analyzed by AI to check quality and extract details (such as a model number) and are attached to your job. |
| Job details | The problem description, service category, urgency, the job address you confirm, and the quotes and booking details that result. |
| Saved addresses | Address book entries you create are stored on your device. An address is sent to us only when you use it for a job or share it with the assistant during a conversation. |
| Device & notifications | A push-notification token, device type, and app version, so we can send you job updates you have enabled. |
| Location | Only if you choose to use your current location for a job’s address. We do not track your location in the background. |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Contractors. To get you quotes, we share what a contractor needs to price the job: the job summary, photos, urgency, the job address, and your first name. Your phone number is not shared until you accept a quote and a booking is made.
Service providers. We use a small number of providers to run Proxr. They process your information only to provide their service to us:

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, contractors, or the public. If Proxr is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction with this policy continuing to apply.
Proxr is operated from Canada, but your information is stored and processed on servers located in the United States (and other locations our providers use). While outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We use contracts and safeguards with our providers to protect it wherever it is processed.
These rights follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you have concerns we haven’t resolved.
We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, private storage buckets with expiring access links, and access controls limiting who and what can read your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Proxr is for adults arranging home services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect and update the date at the top of this page.
